What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like. Saint Augustine

Today’s case is about a young mother who is only 26 years old. She has 3 children; the youngest girl is called Mary. When she was born, she was diagnosed to have bronchitis after 17 days of the delivery. When she became 2 months old, the doctor asked for immediate X-ray. The result was terrible as it showed that the baby girl was having a hole in the heart and it was 7 mm. The doctor prescribed medications for 6 months. After six months, she had another x-ray, but fortunately the hole was 2mm wider. He suggested she undergo a surgery. They took her to another doctor at Al-Minya governorate, but after repeating the X-ray, he suggested the same, to undergo a heart surgery immediately. After consulting the church’s pastor, he suggested to go to a specific doctor. However, the doctor said likewise. This is family can afford its daily bread, but they can’t afford for this costly operation. The husband is a laborer and his wage is daily, yet not regular. He has no brothers to help him. He is also providing for his parents. The girl is sleepless and suffering especially during hot weather, she is in great need for the surgery.

The need: Undergo a surgical heart operation.
