Wife of Y.T.B. and his Children – January, 29, 2016

‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

Bishoy is a young child who suffers from genetic hemophilia. When he was born, he bled a lot and the doctors recommended him many injections that cost 1000 for each. His mother has been suffering from depression and on medication. She is in a dire need for medications as without them she is turned to a helpless woman and becomes unable to do the domestic chores or take care of her children. The injections are highly expensive, the provider of the family, the father, is an ironer and his daily wage is 20-30 pounds. They pay monthly rent for their department and all their money is spent on medications so much that if one of their children is sick, they won’t be able to treat him or take him to the doctor. The family always thanks God and they are contented. The husband’s family is poor and lives in Upper Egypt. The wife’s family is also so poor and her brothers are hemophilic too and all their money is spent on the injections. They are in a dire need for money to buy the injections.

The Need: Providing the children with the medications for treating hemophilia and antidepressants for the mother
