Our lady is suffering from Mediterranean Anemia and she received blood transfusion once or twice a month. She suffered from that disease since she was young which caused her liver problems, cardiomegaly, pleural effusion and osteoporosis. She takes a lot of medications. She went under two Thoracentesis surgeries. She had all the tests’ results. She has to be injected every six months and it costs her 1800 pounds. She has to go under blood transfer operation and gets a bone spray monthly. Her husband left her three years ago. She is destitute and has no income. Her husband abandoned her due to her illness though he knew about her case before marriage. She was a street vendor, but currently she is not capable of working.

She is hindered by her disease and especially osteoporosis. She lives in Talkha at a lodging owned by the church. The church pays her rent but she has to pay electricity and water bills for herself. The church supports her living. However, the income is meager. She is in dire need for help. She needs monthly medications and injections. Her disease is acute and there is no cure to end it.

She has a sister who suffers from renal failure. Her father is bedridden and her mother is dear. Her siblings are destitute. She needs a monthly blood transfusion, iron ampoules that are not found easily and cost 180 pounds along with heart and liver medications. She has run up huge debts due to the expensive costs of her living. She is alone, desperate woman who is in dire need for your help.
